"Topscreen" ComboBox Style Integration
DotSUB integration in a Brightcove player with a ComboBox in the top left hand corner as a Control that opens downward with a list of languages. Sometimes there is not enough space in the Brightcove player toolbar for the full language widget due to width restrictions. Furthermore, wide aspect ratio videos will leave black strips at the top and bottom of the screen, so the "Topscreen" option does not interfere with thevideocontent.View demo
Menubar Integration with Interactive Transcript
This demo shows how the dotSUB integration can be used to create an interactive transcript that is displayed every time a new language is selected, allowing the user to navigate to any point in the video by clicking on any line in the transcript. This functionality also offers the possibility of full indexing by search engines and Ad services so video content can be linguistically and geographically targeted with much greater accuracy than with traditional online media.View demo
Close Caption (cc) Integration
The dotSUB “cc” integration is used for providing 508 compliant closed captions for the hearing impaired in the Brightcove player. This integration will poll dotSUB for any available captions, and display itself if one is found. This makes it easy to import a large library of existing video content into dotSUB, and the project workflow system will take care of the rest. When a caption is ready and has been quality approved, the “cc” button will simply appear in the player without any intervention required on the part of the client web or video developers. The Platform CC button Integration
This demo uses a "cc" button with a full language list, and full screen capability. The default language will appear when the play button is hit. This capability allows for integrations with localized web pages, where the captions need to be set to the default language of the corresponding page. View demo
